Up for auction is a 1997 Pontiac Trans Am "Comp T/A" by SLP. This is a very rare car, there were only 164 Comp T/A's produced over a 3-year span (1995, 1996, and 1997). This particular car is only one of 25 T-top, 6 speed '97's made. The car is in beautiful condition, with only 45,250 miles. Comes fully loaded with a 5.7 liter, 350 cubic inch LT-1 engine, 310 horsepower with ram air package, 6 speed manual transmission, power windows, power locks, AM/FM stereo with CD player, power antenna, leather interior with adjustable lumbar supports, T-tops, air conditioning, power mirrors, FE2 suspension, cruise control, remote keyless entry and rear window defogger. This car has been meticulously maintained. However, there is a small worn spot on the drivers seat. It currently has WS-6 Speedline 17" x 9" wheels off a 2002 Trans Am. The correct Speedline wheels come with the car, but one has a crack in it from a tire changer who didn't know what he was doing. The WS-6 wheels on the car look just like the originals, only they are polished aluminum instead of painted. Tires only have about 2,500 miles on them. The SLP car number is 185 (there were only 164 made). I called SLP personally to verify the car number and that it was a true Comp T/A. They verified it was a true Comp T/A and that the reason the number was out of sequence was because it was one of the last ones made and they just added it in with all the other Firehawks. I have the GM Vehicle Inquiry System papers that tell all the options on the car and verifies the car options, this will be included with the sale of the car. I also have the owner's manual, and SLP manual. The buyer is responsible for the pick up of the car. Very reasonable reserve! This car will only car up in value. Buy it now before they go through the roof! One of the last muscle cars made! SOLD AS IS. |
