2014.08.06 ebay.com Lakeland, Florida, United States A RARE FIND FOR THE PONTIAC TRANS AM COLLECTOR ORIGINAL FLORIDA / VIRGINIA SURVIVOR IMMACULATE ORIGINAL PAINT 1996 PONTIAC TRANS AM COMP T/A TTOP COUPE SPECIAL EDITION - 1 OF 164 64,000 ORIGINAL MILES Just arrived, this is an excellent example of the one of the rarest Trans Ams produced. The Comp T/A was an edition of 164 Trans Ams produced in 1995 - 1997. They were produced to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the BF Goodrich line of T/A performance radials. The brainchild of SLP (Street Legal Perfomance), from concept to approval in less than three months. All were produced as coupes or TTops Coupes in the same color combination of Bright Silver Metallic with Ultima Graphite leather buckets. Performance and appearance options were added by SLP. Production occured over three model years. 1995 - 72 produced 1996 - 45 produced 1997 - 47 Produced Total - 164 Produced Unique composite hood and cold air induction package was a start. Special striping and emblems identifying the Comp T/A Special Edition. Sold new in Hialeah, Florida, it remained in Florida until purchased by long time Virginia owner in 1998. It remained with him and came back to Florida on his retirement in 2013. Now offered along side the sister six speed manual Coupe in the next listing. By the pair and cruise to the next show.
